UTECH RECORDS is 15 this year. Keith Utech has done such a fantastic work so far, tirelessly nourishing our hunger for free and unpredictable musical art, with this permanent concern – which makes his label so unique – to marry the DIY spirit with particular care in aesthetics and presentation of his productions.

I am happy and proud not only to be part of his prestigious roster with CHAOS ECHŒS and OCRE, but also to count Keith among my dear friends from across the Atlantic, and to be able to collaborate with him on the graphic aspect as well, especially for the logo of this event.
So thank you so much for everything, Keith! And happy anniversary!

I made a few wrong choices on my first drafts for this work and Tomas from AT THE GATES wisely told me to rather focus on the same style I had previously used for THE LURKING FEAR. So I brainstormed this idea of reworking the iconic and old-school band’s logotype by giving the illustration an occult feel, with this lonesome and mystical voyager staring at the gates, unleashing the passage to the Unknown by his magic.
